For Sale: 1973 53' Aft Cabin Motoryacht-Excellent Condition
I've lovingly owned this boat since 2002 and have spared no expense on her. For personal reasons I have decided to sell her. The boat is located in Longport NJ.
Almost everything on her is new or rebuilt.
Short List: Full winter and summer canvas, brand new not yet used eisenglass. New curtains and matching bedspreads throughout. 11'6 boston whaler (recently awlgripped) with a 15hp motor (like new-4 hours total). 8V71 naturals, starboard completely rebuilt with about 25 hours, the other top end rebuild with same hours. New bow thruster (forgot the name-begins with letter "v"). New batteries (8 X 8V original size-the big heavy expensive ones) last season. New thru hulls 2006. New carpet and headliners (original headliner in main stateroom). New galley including corion countertops, custom cabinets, stainless steel full size fridge, and custom mahogany seating area that converts to additional sleeping area. New Washer/Dryer. Corion countertops in each of three heads. Teak and holley floors in galley and bathrom as well ac crew quarters. Full Feruno Nav package on both stations. Auto Pilot. Several Radios. CCTV for engine rooms, genset room and rear backup for both stations (helm has waterproof flatscreen TV). Master and Crew cabins have flat screen tv's with DVD. 12v recessed lighting in salon and galley. New Nibral props with good reserve set on board. 15KW ONAN Generator with new high pressure fuel pump. New (rebuilt) helm steering pump. Pompano helm seating. Stereo and TV in Salon as weel as flybridge. Only known issue is slow freon leak in one (of two) salon a/c systems. I have it topped off in spring and it lasts the season. All 4 AC compressors are in excellent condition and work well. House was painted with Imron in 2002. Looks like new when detailed.
Boat is de-winterized and ready to go-currently needs a good cleaning. I would feel comfortable sailing her anywhere from Maine to Texas.
